Path improvements thanks to Amey

With Amey South West Trunk Roads having recently completed a great job on the grass verges on Bennane Hill, there's never been a better time to tick  off the Ballantrae-Lendalfoot section of the Ayrshire Coastal Path!

Loads of wildflowers and butterflies out on the route just now, with an Adder and a Drinker Moth Caterpillar also being spotted yesterday. Try to schedule your walk at low tide to get the best views of the fascinating geology on Ballantrae Beach, and to take advantage our lovely low tide route beyond Pebbles Spa
