Led by Jimmy, on Friday 8 May, a strong A-Team of Tim, Mike, Tom, Richard, Andy G, and Andy L, went down to Langdale, Ballantrae, where they erected three new line-of-sight marker posts to highlight the path from Langdale to the Shingle Bank leading along to Ballantrae, which they also strimmed.
Then they turned their attention to the path across the Big Gully Path, which even so early on in Spring was becoming jungle-like due to the recent warm spell of weather - and gave it a thorough doing with the strimmers.
They also re-sited another marker post - on the foreshore below Downan Hill - to guide walkers well clear of a large patch of boggy ground through which Gillian had recently struggled with a large walking group several weeks ago. This should make a big difference - and a lot easier - for all walkers from now on.
